Key passages

Lamentations 3:22-23 – "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

2 Timothy 2:13 – "If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself."

Numbers 23:19 – "God is not human, that he should lie … Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?"

Hebrews 10:23 – "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful."

Reflection

God's faithfulness is unchanging. His promises hold true even when we fail. We can build our lives on His word.

Questions for reflection

  • When have you experienced God's faithfulness in a difficult season?
  • Where do you need to be reminded that "his compassions never fail"?
  • How can you "hold unswervingly to the hope we profess" this week?

Action plan

  • Write down one promise from Scripture that you will hold onto this month.
  • Each morning this week, thank God for one way He has been faithful to you.
  • Share a story of God's faithfulness with a friend or family member.
